TileTech - Sahara

TileTech presents Sahara, a compact heater operating in the drying phase of the ceramic products. In particular, Sahara can be used in order to dry ceramic tiles, to prepare the tiles for the treatment after the lapping and to dry tiles as a compact dryer in the mat application line. Sahara is characterised for the high efficiency and does not forget the energy saving.

• Dries the porosities of the tile:

- enhances treatment application

• Standardizes the operating temperature and this means:

- the first tool heads will get less dirty from treatment because it will dry faster = less downtime for cleaning;

- the reaction times of the treatment are speeded up: it is clear from the tests that the quality controls no longer have to wait 24 hours for maturation, but can be performed in less time;

- the dosage can be done in a more standardized way;

- the first two heads work more effectively with a possibility of increasing the feed speed.

Sahara is equipped with infrared lamps with automatic activation by means of a photocell at the entrance of the machine and an adjustable timer for the shutdown.

The use of short wave infrared lamps increases efficiency and energy saving. Furthermore, in order to better convey the heat, the machine is fitted with fans.

The casing is made of painted steel with an upper opening door for maintenance. Sahara is fixed to the ground with adjustable feet.
