Instruments catalogue
The quality control is a fundamental phase of the ceramic production process and is composed of the set of actions aimed at identifying and monitoring the quality standards of the finished and unfinished products.
The TileTech’s product catalogue consists of the necessary instruments to monitor the useful data in the production phases of squaring, lapping, treatment and quality control of the finished product.
process control Instruments
Measuring instrument for manual quality control of the sample tile. The LCD display displays the measurement made by the operator. Thanks to the support you can make a precise measurement of the diagonal. Finally, as regards the handling, it is optionally available the cart with wheels.
Portable triple-angle Gloss meter (i.e. 20,60,85,) for high, medium and low gloss.
The Gloss Units (GU) ranges from 0 to 100 and defines whether the final surface of a material is opaque or glossy. This measurement is useful in order to assess the gloss of the finished or unfinished tile. In this way you can always know in an empirical way the result that you would or would not want (to be corrected) to obtain with a given production process.

Portable microscope with integrated 3-inch color LCD display. This model provides up to 400x magnification and is equipped with a smooth digital zoom up to 4x. Ideal for analysing the surface of the tiles and their porosity. This analysis is useful to evaluate the process by which the tile was produced and treated.

Chemical resistance test kit on glazed tiles (also available for unglazed tiles). The samples are subjected to the direct action of the chemical agents provided in the kit. The result, which can be visually checked, is determined by the permanence of these products on the tiles.
The samples are subjected to the direct action of the chemical agents provided in the kit. The surface of the tiles is treated with standard cleaning methods. The result, which can be visually checked, is determined by the permanence of these products on the tiles.
Portable digital roughness meter that measures surface roughness in RA value, average profile deviation, RZ and height of the roughness.
This tool is used to assess the presence of irregularities on the ceramic surface.
Thickness gauge to measure the thickness of uncoated materials.
The instrument is equipped with an external sensor.
This instrument can measure the thickness of a ceramic tile and evaluate its uniformity.
